With his childhood friend Eriri and student novelist Utaha, he starts a visual novel project where he recruits Megumi Kato. As an otaku, he enjoys reading comics and light novels, watching anime and playing galge. He is a student in class 2B of Toyogasaki Academy. Tomoya is the viewpoint character in the light novel.
